SME Connect Better Regulation Forum: First Working Group Meeting
On 19 September, the SME Connect Better Regulation Forum convened its first stakeholder meeting, dedicated to identifying the barriers that obstruct better regulation. During the meeting, stakeholders adopted key targets, established rules of procedure, and outlined the next steps in the Road Map. The Forum will expand its outreach by inviting additional supporters, including associations, SMEs, think tanks, academics, large companies, and interested EU institutions. The members aim to be pragmatic and pro-European contributors to the much-needed public debate. The overarching goal is to create smarter, more transparent regulations and foster constructive dialogue for more effective policymaking. The next meeting is scheduled for October.
Participants included: Taxpayers Association of Europe (TAE), Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP), European Economic Senate (EES), Danish Entrepreneurs (DI), European Enterprise Alliance (EEA), Food Federation Germany, Food Supplements Europe, Herbalife, Amazon Austria & Switzerland.
