The European Commission, Members of Parliament, and Member States are all integral to advancing these objectives. This debate is intended as a starting point to support their efforts, involving the wider business ecosystem to collaboratively develop practical solutions that enhance outcomes for SMEs. By bringing together these key decision-makers, we aim to foster a holistic, balanced approach where each institution contributes to making regulation more functional and effective. The SME Connect Forum for Better Regulation, established by SME Connect network members, serves as a dedicated platform for discussions, debates, and idea exchange focused on improving legislative processes, particularly in addressing challenges for and impacts on SMEs.
